Meridian is searching for a full-time, permanent Executive Assistant to join our Team.

Your Purpose

The purpose of the Executive Assistant is to provide administrative support that ensures the organization runs smoothly and all stakeholders are taken care of. The EA has a thorough understanding of the flow of information and processes of Meridian and is able to use that knowledge to facilitate the smooth operation of the day-to-day functioning of business activities allowing pressure to be taken off of the Executive Team.

What You’ll Be Doing

You role is to provide assistance to the CEO in a variety of tasks as assigned. Your day to day will consist of administrative work such as drafting agreements including construction plans and lease agreements, coordination of rezoning applications, maintaining corporate minute books, scheduling meetings and taking meeting minutes. You will be responsible for coordinating all travel arrangements for team members and conducting various other tasks as assigned by the Executive team. This position consists of regular communication with external parties such as stakeholders, realtors and consultants.

How You’ll Succeed

You are able to communicate clearly with others in a wide array of situations. You are highly organized and able to keep track of multiple moving parts while maintaining strong attention to detail. You have an understanding of the process of land development and the construction industry.

What You’ll Need

  • Certificate or diploma in Business Administration or Executive Assistant training
  • 3-5 years experience as an Executive Assistant
  • Experience in an office setting within the construction industry would be an asset
  • Advanced computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

Location

This position will be housed at our main office in the stunning Nexus Building in downtown Saskatoon.
